Our Goal
To meet our goals to train the community we will need to increase the number of certified, community-driven firearms instructors who are committed to teaching responsible gun ownership, safety, and self-defense. In 2025, we’re pledging to train 2,025 individuals from the Black community in self-defense, firearm safety, and handgun fundamentals. This ambitious goal is a step toward ensuring that every household has the tools and skills needed to stay safe and empowered. Through structured and responsible training, we aim to foster not just safety but a mindset of responsibility, discipline, and community leadership.

  • Step 2: Attend Certification Training with MTBGC

  • Step 3: Pass the Certification Exam
    Demonstrate your knowledge and proficiency through a comprehensive yet achievable exam designed to confirm your readiness to teach responsibly.

  • Step 4: Receive your USCCA Firearms Instructor Certification
    Upon successful completion, earn your nationally recognized certification and officially become part of a respected community of firearm educators.
